Dr. Fleitman is a bilingual Therapeutic Doctor of Optometry with glaucoma certification. She specializes in Low Vision, Binocular Vision, Contact Lenses, surgical co-management, general eye care, and treatment of minor eye disease and injury. Dr. Fleitman attended college at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas in 1985. She received her Bachelors of Science from Tech in 1989, after which she pursued her dream of Optometry School at the University of Houston. She is a 1993 graduate from the University of Houston, College of Optometry. She received Clinical Letters of Excellence in the areas of Primary Care, Contact Lenses, and Pediatrics. She has been an Adjunct Assistant Professor for the University of Houston, College of Optometry. She is also a member of the American Optometric Association and the Texas Optometric Association, in which she has received an award for being loyal and dedicated to the profession of optometry for over twenty five years.
Family has always been important to Dr. Fleitman and her Christian faith is evident in the care patients receive from her. Dr. Fleitman and her husband, Wayne live in Lindsay, Texas. They have six children, Dax, Dean, Briley, Brenna, Heidi and Eadie and three grandchildren. In her spare time, Dr. Fleitman enjoys reading, volunteering at her church at St. Peters, being a High School religion teacher, scrapbooking and spending time with family and friends.
