Margie A. York, O.D.

Dr. York is a Therapeutic Doctor of Optometry with glaucoma certification. She specializes in Low Vision, Binocular Vision, Contact Lenses, and surgical co-management. She has been an Adjunct Professor for the University of Houston, College of Optometry since 2002. As a member of the American Optometric Association, Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society, and Beta Sigma Kappa (an Optometric Honor Fraternity) she offers high tech quality comprehensive eyecare.

Cynthia G. Fleitman, O.D.

Dr. Fleitman is a bilingual Therapeutic Doctor of Optometry with glaucoma certification. She specializes in Pediatrics, Binocular Vision, Contact Lenses, surgical co-management, general eyecare, and treatment of minor eye disease and injury. She is a graduate from the University of Houston, College of Optometry. She received Clinical Letters of Excellence in the areas of Primary Care, Contact Lenses, and Pediatrics. She is an Adjunct Assistant Professor for the University of Houston, College of Optometry. She is also a member of the American Optometric Association and the Texas Optometric Association.

Loan T. Lao, O.D.

Dr. Lao is a Therapeutic Doctor of Optometry with glaucoma certification. She specializes in Binocular Vision, Contact Lenses, surgical co-management, comprehensive eye care, and treatment of minor eye disease and injury. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Texas Optometric Association.

She was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas and obtained her Bachelor's degree in Biology from West Texas A & M University in Canyon, Texas. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from University of Houston College of Optometry in Houston, Texas where she was involved with Fellowship of Christian Optometrists, Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society, and Student Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity. She completed one of her externship rotations in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex at the University of Houston College of Optometry “Bridge Builder Clinic,” serving the indigent population of downtown Dallas. This experience brought her closer to where most of her family and friends now reside and she has decided to stay in the North Texas area.

Dr. Lao enjoys the small hometown hospitality and warmth where she grew up and is delighted to experience that here in Gainesville, Texas. She thoroughly enjoys cooking, good company, and living in the great state of Texas. She is keen on maximizing her time and potential and loves to be around passionate people. She has done work with the Honduras Medical Brigade with the Baylor College of Medicine and intends to extend her services in the future whether they be local or global. She earnestly seeks and strives to be a great steward of her time, talent and love that God has graciously blessed her with and aspires to live intentionally, purposefully and missionally inside the work place and out.

William B. Plauche, M.D.

William B. Plauche was born and raised in South Louisiana. Dr. Plauche's interest in medicine stems from his grandfather who was a family practice physician that served a small community as the only physician. Observing his grandfather's selfless service to his community made a lasting impression on Dr. Plauche. These influences instilled a strong sense of family and community and ultimately lead to Dr. Plauche pursuing his own career in medicine.

Prior to college, Dr. Plauche entered the United States Army in 1990 and served the next four years as an infantry soldier. He then transferred into the Louisiana National Guard; then later into the Army Reserves where he served for the next eleven years, spending the final six years as a medical officer providing medical services to soldiers deploying to Iraq and Afghanistan. His dedication, motivation and professionalism earned him three Certificates of Achievements, two Army Acheivement Medals and an Army Commendation Medal.

In 1994, while serving in the Louisiana National Guard, Dr. Plauche entered college at Northeast Louisiana University in Monroe, Louisiana. He received his Bachelor of Science in 1998 where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Plauche then pursued his dream to become a physician and entered medical school at Louisiana State University Health Science Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. After graduating medical school in June of 2002, he entered his Medical Internship as Scott & White Hospital in Temple, Texas and the following year he started his Ophthalmology Residency at Scott & White Hospital in Temple, Texas while at the same time serving as a medical officer in the United States Army Reserves. His ophthalmology training was completed in June of 2006 and in July of 2006 Dr. Plauche joined RGB Eye Associates in Sherman, Texas.

Dr. Plauche and his wife Cheryl have two children, Avalon and Hunter. Plauche lives in Sherman, Texas where he enjoys spending time with his family, gardening and many other outdoor activities.
